Invites and the chain
How do I get into Vouch?
Someone already inside gives you a single-use invite code that looks like V-4KQ2-L9TX. Enter it on the invite screen, sign in with Apple, and you are in — with your inviter recorded as the person who vouched for you. You can browse the built-in sample circle before signing in if you just want to see what the app is.
My invite code was rejected.
There are three reasons a code stops working:
- It expired. Every code dies seven days after it is minted. Ask your inviter for a fresh one.
- Someone already used it. A code opens exactly one seat and is then spent.
- It was revoked. The person who issued it took it back before anyone redeemed it, which returns the invite seed to them.
I’ve run out of invites.
Invite seeds are deliberately finite — that scarcity is what keeps circles small. Revoking a code that nobody has redeemed returns that seed to you.
Can I hide who vouched for me?
No. The chain is visible to members by design, and it is the reason the app works. If you would rather that connection not be shown, do not redeem the invite — or delete your account, which removes the link entirely.
Hosting and RSVPs
How many events can I host?
On the free plan you can have three upcoming events you host at one time. Once an event is in the past it no longer counts, so the limit is about concurrency, not a lifetime total. Attending and RSVPing to other people’s events is unlimited and always free. Vouch Pro removes the hosting cap.
Who can see the RSVP list?
The host sees every name, whether they are going, maybe or no, their plus-ones and their notes. Guests see the tally only. If you are hosting on Pro you can export that list to share it — for example with whoever is doing the cooking.
Can I change my RSVP?
Yes, any time before the event. Your latest answer replaces the previous one and the host sees the current state.
Why can’t Vouch see my calendar?
Because we asked iOS for add-only access on purpose. Vouch can write an event into your calendar and is technically unable to read anything else in it. If the permission prompt was declined, you can enable it in Settings → Vouch → Calendars.
What happens to the photo I attach?
Vouch strips EXIF, GPS, IPTC and TIFF metadata from cover photos on your iPhone before uploading, and strips them again on the server. The stored file lives in a private bucket that is only readable through the app.
The Live Activity isn’t showing.
Live Activities need iOS 16.1 or later and must be allowed for Vouch under Settings → Vouch → Live Activities. The countdown appears as the event approaches, not the moment it is created.
Vouch Pro
What do I actually get?
Three things, and we would rather be blunt about it than pad the list:
- Unlimited events you host at one time, instead of three.
- Guest list export for events you host — names, going / maybe / no, plus-ones and notes.
- A Pro badge on your profile.
Nothing else in Vouch is behind the subscription. It is US$9.99 per month or US$59.99 per year; the app shows your local storefront price before you confirm.
How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Open your profile and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. Restore tells you whether an active subscription was found.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Vouch and turn off auto-renewal. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Your Pro features stay available until the period you already paid for runs out.
I want a refund.
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in Vouch went wrong, tell us as well so we can fix it.
What happens to my events if Pro lapses?
Nothing is deleted. Events you already created stay exactly as they are and your guests are unaffected. You simply cannot create a fourth concurrent upcoming event until you are back under the free limit or resubscribe.
Account and data
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete account. That removes your account, every event you host along with its RSVPs and comments, all of your own RSVPs and comments elsewhere, and every invite code you issued or redeemed. It happens straight away and cannot be undone — so if you host something people are counting on, tell them first.
Can I delete a single event instead?
Yes. Deleting an event you host removes it with its RSVPs and comments, and leaves the rest of your account intact.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. Vouch has no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics SDK, no access to your contacts and no location tracking. The Privacy Policy lists everything the app does store.
Something looks wrong or someone is behaving badly.
Email us with the event and what happened. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break the Terms of Use. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — in Australia, 000.
